Fault Self‑Diagnosis Library
Troubleshoot common problems before calling for service. Most issues can be resolved with simple checks.
❌ Zero‑Point Drift
If your scale reads non‑zero when empty, check:
- Mechanical binding – debris under the platform
- Load cell damage – visual inspection for cracks
- Moisture ingress – check junction box seals
⚠️ Unstable Readings
If weight fluctuates, check:
- Loose cable connections at indicator or junction box
- Electrical interference – keep cables away from motors
- Corner adjustment – check individual cell outputs
📟 Indicator Error Codes
Common XK3190/DS3 indicator errors:
- Err 01: Load cell signal out of range – check wiring
- Err 02: ADC failure – call for service
- Err 03: Zero calibration required – re‑calibrate
📡 Communication Failure
If weight data is not reaching your PLC/SCADA:
- Check RS485/Modbus wiring – polarity and termination
- Verify baud rate and parity settings
- Test with a laptop serial monitor
